Fort Bend County Libraries’ eBooks are now available for use on the Amazon® Kindle eReader. Library patrons can download popular and classic eBooks to a Kindle device or any mobile device running the free Kindle app, such as iPhone®, iPad®, Android™, and more.
Kindle users can browse the library’s OverDrive digital collection of bestselling and classic eBooks from a PC or Mac computer, check out titles using a library card, and select “Get for Kindle” to deliver eBooks to their Kindle device or any device running the free Kindle app. Amazon’s Whispersync technology synchronizes notes, highlights, and last-page-read between the Kindle and other eReader devices.
Visit the library’s website, www.fortbend.lib.tx.us, and click on the OverDrive link to select and download eBooks for your Kindle. Fort Bend County Libraries partners with OverDrive, Inc., a leader in eBook distribution for libraries and schools, to offer this service.
For more information, call the library’s Public Information Office at 281-341-2677, or ask at any of the libraries in the Fort Bend County library system.
