Louise Bronikowski, 84, of Sugar Land, TX walked into the arms of Jesus on September 4, 2013. Lou, daughter of Florian and Julia Petru, is preceded in death by her parents, husband, Max Bronikowski, and children, David Bronikowski and Debi McKee.
She is survived by her daughters, Kathryn LeRoy and husband Gene, and Marti, Kim, and Christen Bronikowski. Louise is also survived by her grandchildren, Juliane Crocker and husband Reid, Gregory and Andrew LeRoy, Daniel Bronikowski and wife Sara, and Joseph Bronikowski and wife Joyce. Three special great-grandchildren always brought a smile to her face, Emily and Dexter Crocker and Zoë Bronikowski. Louise and her three sisters Viola Muelker of Shiner, Augusta Sciba (deceased) of Sugar Land, and Florence Schmidt of Katy shared a special closeness. Louise’s sense of humor and generosity touched many during her lifetime.
The family warmly thanks the staff and caregivers at Autumn Leaves of The Woodlands for their loving care, respect, and giving dignity to “Mama Lou’s” final years.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations in her name to the Alzheimer’s Association, 2242 W. Holcombe Blvd., Houston, TX 77030.
Visitation was held on Sunday, September 8, 2013 in the Chapel of Davis-Greenlawn Funeral Home in Rosenberg.
The Mass of Resurrection was held on Monday, September 9, 2013 at St. Theresa Catholic Church in Sugar Land. Burial followed at Greenlawn Memorial Park in Rosenberg.
