LTC Trever Nehls, a Richmond resident and 23 year member of the United States Army Reserve, recently assumed command of the 415th Civil Affairs Battalion in Kalamazoo, Michigan. LTC Nehls, a combat veteran of Iraq and Afghanistan, is a graduate of the Command and General Staff College, Fort Leavenworth, Kansas. On May 29, Nehls was elected to serve as the next Precinct 4 Constable, a position he will assume on January 1, 2013. Currently, he is employed with the Sugar Land Police Department.
