A Greatwood family and two friends were arrested by narcotics agents after a lengthy investigation. They all have been charged with class B misdemeanor possession charge.
In a press release by the sheriff’s spokesman Bob Haenel, he gave credit to tips from the neighborhood for the month long investigation that resulted in the arrest of a mother, her two teenage children and two friends.
Haenel said, “The Fort Bend County Narcotics Task Force, which is a Houston HIDTA (High Intensity Drug Trafficking Area) Initiative, concluded a month-long drug investigation of a home in the Greatwood subdivision.” After the narcotics agents searched the home, located in the 1400 block of Forest Brook, they recovered marijuana, and the five people in the home were arrested.
Those arrested and charged with Class B possession (2 ounces or less) of marijuana have been identified by the Sheriff’s Office as Vincent Giles, 20, of Rosenberg, Jesse Luckey, 21, Katherine Maidens, 44, Jacob Maidens, 17, and Emily Maidens, 19, all of Sugar Land.
Each posted $500 bonds and were released from the Fort Bend County Jail.
