It’s time to get out your spring hat and head to the 5th Annual Mad Hatter Spring Fashion Show and Luncheon, presented by Wells Fargo Bank and chaired by Terri Wang, along with honorary chair Jacquie Chaumette. The Mad Hatter Luncheon, benefiting Fort Bend Seniors Meals on Wheels, is set for Friday, April 27, at the Stafford Centre located at 10505 Cash Road in Stafford from 11:30am – 1:30pm.
Get ready to laugh, cry and laugh again as Aly Clavo and Andrea Kulberg, otherwise known as, Aly & Andrea, take the stage as the Keynote Speakers. Extremely premature birth. Blindness. Poverty. Rejection. Divorce. Failure. Cancer. These are not just topics of discussion for Aly & Andrea. This is their reality.
The Stafford Centre will be transformed into a design and floral extravaganza with elegant designs by the area’s best. Interiors designers and florists from the Fort Bend and surrounding area are invited to decorate the tables in their “Theme of Choice”. To add a little fun to the event, Celebrity Table Décor Judge, Torie Halbert, finalist in HGTV’s Design Star-Season 4, will join the luncheon once again to take to the floor to award the Overall Table Design and Most Creative Table Design, which will be announced at the end of the event.
Premier chef, culinary artist and owner of Aura Restaurant, Chef Frédéric Perrier, will present a menu sure to tantilize your tastebuds, along with paired wines from Becker Vineyards.
The fashion show will feature “celebrity” area models. Among those modeling this year, are Cindy Chang, Catherine Kubala, Laura Thompson, Ron & Juliana Ewer, Wanda Sdao, Rachel Novoa, Ray Aguilar, and Kevin Patton…just to name a few.
Sponsorship opportunities are available at the following levels: Eugenie Hatter – $5,000; Sunbonnet Hatter – $2,500; and Derby Hatter – $1,000; Individual tickets are also available for $60. Additional details for sponsors can be found at www.fortbendseniors.org.
The Mad Hatter Fashion Show and Luncheon is one of Fort Bend Seniors’ signature fundraising events. All funds raised go toward supporting the mission and programs which enhance the quality of life for Fort Bend County Senior Citizens.
