The Medical Reserve Corps (MRC) is offering the following volunteer orientations:
January 18, 6:30-8:30 pm, First Colony Library, 2121 Austin Parkway, Sugar Land. Contact Christine Rabe, 832-385-9632, firstname.lastname@example.org
The orientation covers the basics of the Strategic National Stockpile program and the roles of MRC team members, who serve as volunteers for Fort Bend County Health & Human Services.
The MRC is a group of trained volunteers who help in times of emergency and serve as community educators. The mission of the Fort Bend MRC is to improve the overall well-being and quality of life of the Fort Bend County community through promotion of health and prevention. Each MRC unit is community based, and people of all professions, not just medical, are invited to join.
