Missouri City’s favorite daughter, Crystle Stewart, weds Belgian born international model, Max Sebrechts, and adds the Mrs. title to a long list of so many of her accomplishments. She wed her beau on August 9th after being honored in a ceremony the day before, in and by the city she’s called home. Missouri City Mayor Allen Owen congratulated the couple at City Centre at Quail Valley acknowledging the goodwill Stewart extended to the community. Former Miss Texas, beauty queen Stewart became Miss USA in 2008, at the time she headed a motivational speaking company and was also a model.
The University of Houston graduate has been a track and field star at Elkins High School and today, along with her new recent bride title, she’s on the cast of Tyler Perry’s “For Better or Worse” TV series on OWN, the Oprah Winfrey Network. It’s in its fourth season and about to begin the fifth, where she’s been acting in the role of Leslie Morris, a successful real estate agent.
Stewart’s wedding this month took place almost a year after she accepted a romantic proposal in French in front of her parents’ home in Quail Valley. That’s where a helicopter rented by multi-lingual Sebrechts made a landing for the pop-the-question, on bended knee occasion in the presence of family and friends.
Accounts from those attending the wedding in Spring, Texas say it was gorgeously elegant. After all, Stewart had said she wanted it to be fairytale-like and also formal. Here’s an interesting note…the Stewart-Sebrechts’ wedding day date, August 9th, is also the same as Stewart’s parents’ marriage.
Stewart’s husband, Sebrechts, reportedly has a masters degree in economics with a major in international management, and is a trade commissioner/economic advisor. The newlyweds will live in Los Angeles. The Star congratulates the happy couple!
