NAOMA G. RAYMOND

Naoma G. Raymond, born May 3, 1925 in Tiptonville, Tennessee, died peacefully surrounded by family on Tuesday, June 14, 2016 in Sugar Land, Texas.

Mrs. Raymond was a much devoted wife, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was an accomplished dancer and artist and loved adventure. She traveled all over the world with her husband and family. All people who knew her were drawn to her positive energy and nonjudgmental attitude because she loved unconditionally. She attended The Bridge Fellowship Church in Sugar Land and the Harman Senior Center regularly. She celebrated every day, lived life to the fullest and will be greatly missed.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 58 years, Gale J. Raymond and leaves behind her daughters Janet (JR) Johnson and Susan Rodgers and her husband Rick, grandchildren, Faye Rodgers, Richard Rodgers, Katie Charbonnet and Colin Lee, great-granddaughter Baily Cauffman, sister Gloria Andrezak, and many loving family members and friends.

A graveside service was held in her memory on Monday, June 20, 2016 at Forrest Park Westheimer Cemetery in Houston, Texas.

As a memorium towards Mrs. Raymond, contributions made to Meals On Wheels of Fort Bend County or the T.E. Harman Senior Center in Sugar Land, Texas would be greatly appreciated.
