July 13, 1939 – April 14, 2016

Natalie Blake Allen, age 76, died peacefully on April 14, 2016, in Houston, Texas. Natalie is survived by her sons, Charles (Rose) and Blake (Allison), of Houston; her sister, Harriet Barrett (Bob), of Harpswell, Maine; and three grandsons.

She is preceded in death by her husband Thomas of Houston.

Natalie was born on July 13, 1939, in Shawnee, Oklahoma, to parents Charles and Hattie Mae Blake.

She graduated from Rider College in Trenton, New Jersey, majoring in business and education.

Natalie was a great friend and a loving mother.

She married Thomas in 1965 and the couple had two children together.

Natalie was a faithful woman who was deeply involved in the church for the majority of her life. Her family and friends will always remember her as a loving, compassionate, and a strong mother.

A funeral is scheduled for Natalie on April 20, 2016, at 10AM at Sugar Land Mortuary with a reception to follow.

All are welcome to attend and celebrate Natalie’s life. In lieu of flowers, consider Natalie’s favorite charity, which was the International Fellowship of Christians and Jews.
