Recently, residents of the Remington Crest subdivision in the New Territory enclave experienced a scare and sent out an email alert to friends and neighbors.
On Sunday, mid-morning, two trucks, one red truck with a trailer and one white truck, pulled up in front of a home in the Remington Chase section. Two men got out of the trucks and approached a home and rang the bell. The residents were home, but elected to not answer the door as they did not recognize the men nor were they expecting visitors. However, they did move the blinds so the pair could tell someone was in the house. The two men left.
The two suspicious men were described as a tall white male, and a suspicious acting short Hispanic male. Neighbors reminded each other to remain vigilant and to call law enforcement if anything seems suspicious.
Sheriff’s records, the agency responsible for the police protection of this community, did not indicate that any report was taken for this incident.
