New Millennium Montessori School (NMMS) is proud to serve the community for past 12 years! Their school is based on the study of life; it is pure creativity, as all life is creation.
The child, like every other living organism, passes through successive stages of development, guided by what Dr. Montessori calls “sensitive periods.” These sensitive periods are shown in children of all races, of all cultures, as the child is a universal living organism. During any particular sensitive period, the child shows an insatiable hunger for the acquisition of some particular knowledge or skill.
At NMMS every child is explored to intellectual accomplishment and he is given the keys through the sensorial material which is an aid to the classification and organization of the impressions that his mind must already hold.
They provide a strong FOUNDATION for the child to enhance both mentally and physically. Their graduates have been promoted to higher grades at public schools and it is a great joy to see past students entering medical schools and other elite colleges.
Their goal is to create an environment for children where each child can feel special and will develop at their own pace. All the students are able to enhance their self-esteem and each individual feels special. They offer an environment where children can be happy and relaxed and make the fullest possible use of their abilities.
They now offer services to infants, toddlers, preschool, after school, and first grade through fifth grade.
Extra-Curricular activities include: Spanish class; Tumble bus; Piano Class; Dance Class; Basket ball; Field trips; and Soccer.
They also have in association with IGASP (Indoor Gym & After School Program). Gymnastic classes are available. This service is included in the tuition for full time and after school students. Birthday parties can be scheduled for the weekends.
