The recent front page article written by Ms. Elsa Maxey reporting the resignation of a WCID #2 board member asserts that I “stated many allegations”. Let me just say that if your author had made just a small attempt of researching the items mentioned she could have easily found all of them in public records.
Every last one of them, including the former board members being quoted as “the move to Pecan Grove was necessitated because he married some eight months ago and the blended family didn’t comfortably fit his Vaccaro Manor home”.
I do NOT consider the former board member a racist and do not agree that the statement made by the former board member is a racist attack as alluded to by some of the water district customers.
What I do question is why the writer of this supposedly unbiased article in your newspaper also the hired publicist for WCID #2? What I also think is that this is WATERGATE AT WCID #2 at it again.

*Editor’s note: Mr. Nunez, Ms. Elsa Maxey is a contract employee of the water district who puts into sentences the information provided to her by the water district. She has a company that does this for various entities.
Additionally, her story only involves what you had previously stated in your flyer which you published IN THIS NEWSPAPER so I don’t really understand what it is you are complaining about and what she has to research. She assumed you researched it before you printed it in a flyer.
Mr. Howard resigned, which seemed to be the point of your original flyer, so what’s the beef?
I didn’t take your reference to “blended family” as racist. I thought it meant that his family had grown with the new marriage and he needed more room provided by the new house in Pecan Grove. If that is not the case, then be careful how you express yourself as some people seem intent on taking things wrong. Hint, hint.
