Funeral services for Willie Holliday McLemore, 82, of Stafford, were held at 12:00 noon, Wednesday, April 9, 2008 in the State Room of Davis-Greenlawn Funeral Home in Rosenberg. Interment followed in Greenlawn Memorial Park in Rosenberg.

Visitation was held from 11:00 A. M. until 12:00 noon, Wednesday, April 9, 2008 in the State Room of Davis-Greenlawn Funeral Home.

Willie was born on October 3, 1925 in Sulligent, Alabama to Sim Bob and Jessie Holliday. She loved spending time with her family and was a caregiver to her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. Willie enjoyed gardening and westerns and was a true friend to everyone. She passed away on April 7, 2008 in Missouri City.

Willie is preceded in death by her husband, Valcus Lee McLemore; her sons, Billy Barker and David McLemore; parents, Sim Bob and Jessie Holliday and brothers, Brown Lee Holliday and Taul Holliday.

She is survived by children:Doris Simmons and husband, John, Clark L. Barker and wife, Helen, Diane Huff and husband, Ben, Jenny Hoke and husband, David; sister: Mary Dell Barker; grandchildren: Tammy Falany and husband, Larry, Clark Barker, Jr. and wife, Heather, Tonya Barker, Chastity Terry and husband, Charles, Amanda Tate and husband, Chris, Courtney Hoke, Daniel McLemore; and numerous great grandchildren; along with many other family members and friends.
