Gregory S. Snyder, 56, died unexpectedly at his home in Missouri City on May 15, 2008. Greg was born in Albert Lea, MN, to Jeanne and Bob Snyder, and graduated from
high school in Richfield, MN. He married Jessica Draeger of Carlton, MN, in October of 1985, and they were married over 22 years. He was predeceased by his parents, father-in-law Leonard (Chuck) Draeger, and brother-in-law Frank Talarico. He is survived by his loving wife; brother
Jim (Jamielle), Richfield, MN; nephews Jason (Sheila), Washington, DC, and Jonah, Halifax, NS, Canada; their mother Danuta, Halifax; mother-in-law Tess Draeger, Carlton, MN; sister-in-law, Amy Talarico, Duluth, MN; nephews Paul (Brenda) Talarico, Roseville, MN, and Todd Talarico (Tom Yager),
Portland, OR; niece Amy Jo Talarico, Duluth; and two great-nephews.
He was the drummer with the band Whiskey River for over 10 years, and during that time resided in the Moose Lake and Duluth, MN, areas. The band was recently inducted into the Mid America Music Hall of Fame. Greg also was employed in corporate sales for pc’s and peripherals for
several years, and recently was affiliated with Smack Guitars.
A memorial service was held on May 22 at New Hope Lutheran Church, Missouri City. Greg and Jessi’s goal was to retire back to MN, and he will return there with her in July.
