C. Ervin Watts was born in Luling, TX on the 13th of September 1936, and died on October 23, 2008, at the age of 72.

Ervin is survived by his wife of 53 years, Shirley; son and daughter-in-law, Colice and Susan Watts of Fulshear; daughter and son-in-law Cynthia and Bob Jacobus of Sugar Land; five grandchildren, Chris (Jennifer), Laura (James), Brandt, Matthew and Kristin; four great-grandchildren, Jaden, Aleigh, Arianna and Cyrus; mother, Myrl Watts; brother, Kenneth (Mary) Watts; sister, Noveen (Sonny) Barnes.

He was preceded in death by his father (Colice Z. Watts) and grandson (Steven Jacobus).

Services were held Sunday, October 26, 2008 at the Schmidt Funeral Home Chapel, 819 Waller Ave., Brookshire, TX, 77423 (281)934-2424 with Dr. Phil Lineberger officiating.
