Funeral
services for Pearl Renata Franziska Kaase Hertel, 87, of
Sugar Land were held at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, May 23, 2006 in
the Chapel of Davis-Greenlawn Funeral Home in Rosenberg.
Interment followed at Greenlawn Memorial Park in Rosenberg.
Pastor Jim Thomas officiated the services.
Visitation was held Monday, May 22, 2006
in the State Room of Davis-Greenlawn Funeral Home in
Rosenberg.
Pearl was born September 16, 1918 to John
and Anna Kaase in Swiss Alp, TX. She was a member of Faith
Lutheran Church in Sugar Land, TX.
She is preceded in death by her husband,
Reymar A. Hertel; her parents, John and Anna Kaase; her
sister, Irma Blackshear; her brother, Milton Kaase; her
half-brother, Floyd Kaase, and her step brothers, Bootsie
Schultz and Walde Schultz.
Pearl is survived by her daughter, Margie
Taylor and her husband, Earnest; grandchildren, Robin Allen
and her husband, Art, Kelly Henkes and her husband, Darren,
Clayton Taylor and his wife, Jennifer; great-grandchildren,
Elizabeth, Philip, and Andrew Allen, Rachel and Nolan Henkes,
Sara, Lily, Ethan and Ella Taylor; sister, Gladys Lamascus
and her husband, Andy; sisters-in-law, Evelyn Kaase and
Renata Kaase; step-sister, LaVerne Lamascus and her husband,
Pat; along with numerous other family members and friends.
The family would like to express their
heartfelt gratitude to all of Pearl’s caregivers, Vista
Care, Sugar Land Oaks staff, and all of her dear friends at
Sugar Land Oaks.
Funeral arrangements were under the direction of Davis-Greenlawn
Funeral Home, 3900 B. F. Terry Blvd. (corner of FM 2218 &
Highway 59), Rosenberg 281-341-8800.
