SARAH AZILEE HOLLEY BALZER of Sugar Land,
Texas died Friday, October 6, 2006 following a brief
illness.
Sarah was born January 12, 1953 in Fort
Worth, Texas and spent her childhood in Port Arthur, Texas
where she attended Thomas Jefferson High School and later,
Lamar University. Following a career as a legal secretary in
Houston, she was owner/operator of Firpo’s Barbecue Joint in
Richmond, Texas.
Predeceased by parents Sally and Earle
Holley. Survived by: husband Jim; stepson Jake Balzer and
his wife Julie; grandchildren Owen & Emme stepdaughter
Polly; brother Roger; and dogs Pancho & Lefty.
An informal celebration of Sarah’s life will take place
at her new home she was unable to move into: 1018 Cardinal
Avenue, Sugar Land, Texas, Saturday, October 14, 2006, noon
‘til dark thirty.
