For the 10th consecutive year, Star Digital Studios is offering professionally-produced DVDs of each graduation ceremony for all the FBISD high schools with graduating seniors.
FBISD will hold its 2012 commencement exercises for graduating seniors on Thursday, May 31 and Friday, June 1 at the Toyota Center in Houston. Videos of each of the graduation ceremonies are available for purchase at a cost of $35 each. The price includes applicable sales tax and shipping within the continental U.S.
The video on DVD with menu sections will show the entire ceremony from the opening strains of “Pomp and Circumstance” through the final Recessional. At the Toyota Center, there will be a camera right on the stage, which will allow for a very clear view of the event. “Parents can see their favorite senior walk across the stage and receive the diploma,” said Elsa Maxey, who heads Star Digital Studios as its Executive Producer. “Continuing to provide this important service in part is a tribute to Sherry Carter, who is credited with establishing the long-term relationship with the school district and parents,” said Maxey. Carter, who passed away in October 2011, founded the video production company and was active in the business community.
“Already we’re receiving calls from parents about placing an order,” said Maxey in recognition of the reputation of the quality service provided by Star Digital Studios. “Flyers with an order form have been provided to the high schools, which will be distributed to seniors.”
There are three easy ways to order a DVD –by mailing back or faxing a completed order, or you can do it online – www.StarDigitalOrders.com. There will also be tables set up to take orders at the Toyota Center on the day of the event.
Each school will be receiving a DVD copy of the 2012 commencement ceremony. The DVD is packaged in an album case with a full-color insert that will fit in with any DVD collection, “and it makes a nice keepsake,” said Maxey. “Seniors are very busy this time of the year, so ordering the DVD may be just one more important item to fit into that to-do list,” she said. “The DVD is something that can be visited from time to time and it’s the sort of thing a senior may cherish in remembrance of this significant rite of passage.”
Star Video also offers FBISD graduating class DVDs as far back as the 2003, and they may be ordered online. For more information, call 281-690-4280 or visit starvideoproductions.com
