This had been a week of what ifs and who done-its.
Fort Bend County deputies were involved in another police chase – this time they chased a minivan on FM 1093 – Westheimer Road near the Grand Parkway.
According to authorities, deputies jumped a minivan being operated by a couple of burglary suspects as it was traveling down Westheimer/FM 1093 last Thursday morning about 10 am. The chase ended some 30 minutes later when the minivan turned into the parking lot of an elementary school off Fry Road in the Cinco Ranch subdivision.
Eventually deputies found the two suspects, hiding on the roof of Griffin Elementary School near Cinco Crossing. Interestingly, shots were reported to have been fired during the chase but no charges indicating that either of the men shot at law enforcement officers were filed.
This case remains under investigation.
