The Pregnancy Resource Medical Center is holding its annual Baby Bottle Boomerang fundraising campaign.
The fundraiser begins in the spring and runs through early summer (usually Mother’s Day to Father’s Day). Donations made prior to Mother’s Day can be made in honor or memory of a mother or loved one.
Through the Baby Bottle Boomerang, PRMC asks churches and other organizations to encourage each congregant or member to take home a baby bottle, fill it with a donation and return it the following week. Bottles may be filled with loose change, bills, or a check made out to PRMC. In 2016, 32 churches throughout Fort Bend County participated and more than $78,000 was raised.
The goal for 2017 is to have 40 churches participate and to raise at least $82,000.
The mission of the Pregnancy Resource Medical Center is to prevent abortion by offering women the information, emotional support, spiritual encouragement, and practical help that will empower them to choose life for their child and sexual integrity for themselves.
