The Sugar Land Police were out in force the other day when a group of hoodlums were out plying their trade.
In the early afternoon of August 2, Sugar Land Police were called to investigate a suspicious vehicle in a neighbor’s driveway in the 3900 block of East Wisteria Circle.
According to reports, a Hispanic male could be seen removing property from the home and placing it in that suspicious vehicle in the driveway. Before police could arrive, a second rather suspicious vehicle was seen driving through the neighborhood, followed by the first suspicious vehicle. Suspicion abounded. Police found the two suspicious cars and when they hit the lights, their fight or flight syndrome kicked in.
Police set up a perimeter and shortly thereafter the crooks and both cars were nabbed near the intersection of Austin Parkway and Settlers Grove where police can be seen working.
Stolen property was recovered from the cars and Juan Puga, 17, of Stafford, and three male juveniles were arrested and charged with burglary of a habitation.
Just another day at the office for Sugar Land Police.
