HIGHWAY SIX MEDIANS WITH GRASS? Why is TXDOT putting grass in a few of the new “medians”? 2-1/2 years ago when these mediums were designed, TXDOT determined that they would have a few Medians wide enough (10 feet) to accommodate landscaping for “beautification”. During recent construction, “sleeves” were installed for irrigation. The maintenance of these landscaped medians will be provided by local interested HOAs. Two HOAs have already volunteered for the Missouri City ones. (NEVER In their wildest dreams, did TXDOT expect a Texas “drought”.)
