PEOPLE KEEP REPORTING THE LONG WAITING TIME TO TURN OFF FM 1092 onto Hampton or El Dorado. Yes, and this can be especially frustrating when late at night there is no oncoming traffic. The CITY said by the end of the year a better system will be in place on Murphy and it will speed up the turn light in such circumstances.
WHAT DOES IT MEAN WHEN SOME OF THE MATURE OAKS ON HAMPTON ARE “MARKED”. During the Lowe’s design phase, the City Forester and several city staff, encouraged the architect to make a strong effort to preserve some of the nicer trees, particularly the live oaks along Hampton. It appears that they took that advice and also implemented some tree protection fencing during construction. Prior to construction, the City Forester flagged and relocated several smaller trees that were planned for demolition. These trees were relocated to the First Colony Exercise Trail and Ridgeview Park.
