TRAILER STORAGE RESTRICTIONS? It needs to have a gate or a garage door to hide it from a public street. Otherwise, it is a violation of CITY code and, also, a violation of many HOA deed restrictions.
NEW RESTAURANTS PLANNED OR OPENING SOON and OTHER RETAIL BUSINESSES. Go to PROUD web site and scroll down until you see them listed: http://www.quailvalleyproud.com/faqs.php
Next time you plan to eat out, make sure you consider one of our local restaurants, especially if they are “new”.
QV ELEMENTARY NEEDS VOLUNTEERS who can read a book to one of the classes and/or be a Mentor. The school will tailor days and times to coordinate with a volunteer’s availability. Call Lisa, School Counselor, at 281-634-5043 or 281-634-5040. Training will be provided and there will be a “back-ground check” by the school district.
WHAT WOULD YOU TAKE IF YOU HAD TO EVACUATE? What one family in the Magnolia area took: (First in the car) A portable fire safe containing: important documents (birth certificates, SS cards, will, bonds, vaccination records, important jewelry, etc. (2nd in car) prescription meds, some clothes and plastic bags with basic toiletry items so you do not have to buy those “on the road”. (Suggest you make the basic toiletry items part of your “emergency kit” so you don’t have to pack this while trying to evacuate.) Some photos, week’s worth of pet food and pet’s vaccination records. Lap tops, CPU, cell phones AND CHARGERS.
WHAT THEY FORGOT? Baby books, wedding album, college photo album, high school yearbook, portable hard drive that has photo files.
BEST THING TO DO “BEFORE” AN EVACUATION: MAKE A LIST AND POST IT.
