POWER BLIPS: Centerpoint is currently inspecting circuits that are experiencing blips and outages. The most recent inspection that I knew about was the week of Thanksgiving and Orders were issued the last week in November for repairs.
CAUSES? At this time Centerpoint thought it may be tree branches. Therefore the workmen were walking the easements in Quail Valley looking for any branches that were touching the overhead cables.
OTHER CAUSES? Equipment, such as transformers and connections or something called an “open neutral”. This requires a service call by Centerpoint in order to determine the “cause”.
CHECK THIS OUT: On Hampton in Quail Valley Subdivision, there is an example of EXCELLENT creativity in the transformation of a simple little mail box on top of a post. The owner used a little bit of “this” and a little bit of “that” and it really catches your eye and encourages you to slow down and look closely at the design. If we had “mail box of the month” it would surely win.
HELP RECOGNIZE AN “EXCEPTIONAL” POLICE OFFICER: Officers take great pride in being recognized by citizens for performing their duties in a competent, courteous and professional manner. Your letter or Email is directed to Chief Fitzgerald. Next it is posted where all officers can read it and placed in their “personnel file”. That way, when they are up for a raise, promotion, bonus, etc. and their file is “pulled”, your comments could lend weight to the final decision. Email: email@example.com OR go to City web site: www.missouricitytx.gov and click on Police Department/Commend an Officer where you can complete a form which will go directly to Chief Fitzgerald’s office.
