PROUD IS REQUESTING YOUR HELP? Does your home back up to a green belt area, such as a park or golf course? If so, please help our Police and Fire departments by displaying your street name & number on the back yard wall of your home or on the gate of your wrought iron back yard fence.
WHY IS THIS NEEDED? This way when people are in the parks or on the golf courses and they see suspicious activity they can report with a “real” address instead of a golf hole number or, in the case of a park, they have NO “reference points” to give to the dispatcher.
MAIL BOXES IN DISREPAIR? Email me the street name and number and I can forward this to the Post Office Distribution Center. They will then send a courtesy letter alerting the resident to their violations and asking that they rectify the situation.
HOW MANY OFFICERS PATROL A BEAT? Each beat has one to two officers assigned. Each work a 10 hour shift with one meal break. Quail Valley would be considered “one” beat. Officers can easily provide assistance to adjoining districts.
POWER OUTAGES? I continue to report “blips” and “outages”. Report date, time and length of blip or outage. Be sure to give your street address and phone number so that I can report back to you.
