The Lamar Consolidated Educational Secretaries Association (LCESA) is holding its first Razzle Dazzle Market Day, February 18, at Lamar Junior High in Rosenberg. The event will be held in the LJH cafeteria from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. and will feature a tag sale and vendor booths, as well as food and refreshments.
Confirmed booths include candles, cosmetics, clothing, jewelry, toys, books, children’s clothing and tamales. Kids n Cops will also be on hand to provide information and fingerprinting kits.
“LCESA is so excited about the upcoming Razzle Dazzle Market Day,” said LCESA President and Wertheimer Middle School Secretary Cheryl McGill. “Not only is it an opportunity for us to raise money for our organization and the scholarships we provide, but also to meet and talk with our friends in the community. We hope everyone takes the time to stop by. There should be something for everyone.”
LCESA provides professional development for office paraprofessionals in Lamar CISD, as well as funding scholarships for secretaries seeking to continue their education to become teachers.
