Recovery Is Possible Inc., has been selected as one of 30 organizations to participate in the “BHBusiness program for the State of Texas. SAMSHA, AHP, NIATx, National Council for Behavioral Health and SAAS selected the organizations based on their focus on mental health recovery models to participate.
The “BHBusiness Program was designed to assist mental health recovery organizations in the development of strategic business models to address the shortfall of behavioral health care starting January 1, 2014. Recovery is Possible specializes in mental health education for persons with mental illness. Recovery Is Possible currently offers services in peer support, crisis assistance and private case management.
Donna Kocurek, President and Founder of Recovery Is Possible, lives in Fort Bend County and has 30 years of personal lived experience with mental illness. “I believe every man, woman and child has the right to a productive and successful treatment plan. Simple medication rotation and lack of sincerity, or knowledge in providing hope to the person living with the illness has become an unacceptable practice. Hope is the foundation, education is the tool, and guidance is the key to the future. Recovery is Possible is honored to have been selected.”
