The City has reopened applications for individuals interested in volunteering their time to serve on a board, commission, and/or committee.
City of Rosenberg boards, commissions, and committees serve as links to City Council and staff to help keep Rosenberg’s City government responsive and accountable to the needs of the citizenry. The City relies on the advise and expertise of resident volunteers.
Service on any City board, commission or committee is a privilege and a responsibility which can involve a significant time commitment. Members serve on a volunteer basis without compensation, and are expected to diligently attend and participate in meetings.
The City is seeking interested applicants for positions on the following boards/committees:
• Animal Shelter Advisory Board
• Building Standards Board
• Image Committee
• Parks and Recreation Board
• Planning Commission
• Richmond-Rosenberg Local Government Corporation
• Rosenberg Special Events Committee
• Rosenberg Development Corporation
Current members will be considered for reappointment based on, but not limited to, their demonstrated commitment and responsibility to the position, including attendance. Appointments are made by City Council.
