Yep, seems three contractors have destroyed their futures and lost contracting jobs out at the W.A. Parish plant in Thompsons after stealing copper wire from the facility. They were busted after someone noticed leftover copper material in the bed of the truck leaving the plant.
Along the way, a cop working an extra job got involved, started asking questions, and Bam! information started flying like the first guy in that grizzly chase! One of the mullets even copped to selling the material, then fessed up to where and how much they got!
Just so ya’ know, in Dickinson, 800 pounds of liberated copper from the Parish plant will get ya’ $1,100 in cash AND a $5,000 bond in Fort Bend County. Kinda makes it a 2-fer, huh!
All three face state jail felony charges.
