Runoff elections are Saturday

Voters in Sugar Land, Missouri City and two Municipal Utility Districts (MUD) are headed back to the polls Saturday, June 11, to settle runoff elections.

In Sugar Land, current city councilmen Joe Zimmerman and Harish Jajoo are in a ronoff election for mayor. The At-Large Position 2 race for Sugar Land City Council features Mary Joyce and Naomi Lam.

In Missouri City, At-Large Position 2 Councilman Chris Preston heads to a runoff against Cynthia Gary.

Voters in MUD No., 155 will chose between Christopher McLarty and Christina A. Garcia for a director’s position.

Cinco Ranch MUD No. 7 voters will chose between David Drake and Christopher Telschow for a director’s position.

Polls are open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.
