The Graceland men’s soccer program and head coach Guillermo Sanchez have inked another member to the 2013 campaign with the signing of Ryan Schlom.
Schlom, a Sugar Land, Texas native, is a 5’8″ midfielder who prepped at Clements High School under coaches Todd Ericson and Gerald Garcia.
“Ryan brings a number of qualities that are so hard to find in an athlete,” said Sanchez. “He will have a bright future in both academics and on the soccer field at GU.
“His vision and technique on the field impressed me from the first time I saw him play. You don’t find players like that every year.”
“I am very happy that he will be joining the 2013 class,” continued Sanchez.
Schlom is the son of Phil and Christie and plans on studying Business Administration during his tenure at Graceland.
