Lace up your running shoes and get your bells on for the annual Scanlan Oaks Elementary Reindeer Run & Jingle Jam! Sponsored by Legacy Ford and Scanlan Oaks Elementary School, this 5K fun run will take place on Saturday, December 3, from 8:00 – 11:00 a.m. at Scanlan Oaks Elementary, 9000 Camp Sienna Trail in Sienna Plantation.
The event offers something for the whole family to enjoy – including a brand new 5K course, silent auction and carnival for all ages. The event welcomes runners, walkers, and even toddlers! All proceeds will benefit the children and teachers at Scanlan Oaks Elementary School.
Prizes will be awarded to the overall top three male and female finishers in the 5K, and to the top finisher in each age category in the 5K. Individual prizes will also be awarded for best costume, most original antlers, most family participants, and most school spirit. After the run, participants are welcome to stay for the carnival, which will include inflatables, a rock wall, refreshments and music.
