Houston Texans receiver DeAndre Hopkins carries the ball past a group of Arizona Cardinals defenders during Sunday’s preseason game at NRG Stadium. The Texans pushed their preseason record to 3-0 with a 34-24 victory. The starters looked unstoppable as they cruised to a 31-10 halftime lead. Although Hopkins remains the preeminent offensive weapon in the Texans arsenal, rookie receiver Will Fuller is rising as a big-play favorite target of quarterback Brock Osweiler. On defense, with superstar J.J. Watt still out, Jadeveon Clowney is starting to pick up some of the slack. Linebacker John Simon scored his second touchdown of the pre-season when he picked off Carson Palmer and returned it 59 yards. The Texans wrap up the preseason Thursday at Dallas.
