In late July, Friday the 26th, Sheriff’s deputies responded to a shoplifting call at Ulta Beauty located in the 5400 block of State 99/Grand Parkway in unincorporated Fort Bend County.
According to Sheriff’s spokesman Bob Haenel, the responding deputies were able to determine that a female was the suspect after watching surveillance footage. Haenel said the suspect was described as a white female, about 5’5″, with a thin build. She appears to be between 35 to 40 years old and at the time of the theft was wearing a strawberry blonde wig, a blue tank top, black shorts and black sandals.
On the surveillance footage she can be seen walking through the store, placing items inside an Ulta shopping bag. Haenel said, “Detectives believe the suspect crouched while between aisles in order to remove the items in the bag and place them in her own purse, leaving the Ulta bag behind.”
The theft was reported to be almost $225. She was seen leaving the area in what is believed to be a Toyota Camry.
Information which leads to the apprehension and filing of charges on the suspect involved could earn a reward of up to $5,000.
