Robbers hit two northeast Fort Bend County businesses and Crime Stoppers is willing to pay a reward for information.
Sheriff’s spokesman, Bob Haenel, reported that on December 20, shortly before 6 p.m. the employees of the Get Wireless Cricket Store in the 9400 block of State Highway 6S near Bissonnet were threatened by two men wielding guns and robbed.
Haenel explained that one of the suspects waved a gun around, ordered everyone in the store to get on the floor. He took the cash from the register while his co-conspirator acted as a lookout. With cash in hand the two left the store.
Haenel said the gun wielding suspect is believed to be a Hispanic male. At the time of the robbery he was wearing white t-shirt wrapped around his face and a white baseball cap. No description was available on the pistol used. The co-conspirator/lookout was described as possibly a black male wearing a white hoodie. Heanel said he called the suspect with the gun “Chris.”
The beauty salon robbery was about 30 minutes later, across Highway 6S at the RJ Salon.
In this robbery, the active suspect was wearing a t-shirt wrapped around his face. He was described as between 18-25 years old wearing dark clothing. When he and his coconspirator/lookout entered the store this suspect ordered an employee of the salon to give him the cash in the register. The coconspirator/lookout did not interact with anyone in this case either. With cash in hand the duo left the salon.
