The Spirit of Freedom Republican Women’s Club will host Cathie Adams as she addresses issues from her recent trip to the United Nations in Doha, Qatar. The UN is planning a global tax to be implemented no later than 2020 and she will be filling in the details. The meeting will take place Friday January 18 at Sugar Creek Baptist Church Chapel at 13213 SW Freeway, Sugar Land from 11 am to 1 pm. Texas State Rep District 26, Rick Miller, will sponsor the meeting.

Cathie Adams currently serves as the president of Texas Eagle Forum, as well as the “International Issues” chairman and on the board of the national Eagle Forum. She previously served 16 years as president of the Texas Eagle Forum, until being elected chairman of the Republican Party of Texas in 2009. She was named by Campaigns and Elections magazine’s August 2010 issue as one of the top 50 Republican influencers in Texas.
