St. Laurence kindergarten classes tour fire station

April 25, 2011 by FortBendStar

The kindergarten classes at St. Laurence Catholic School completed their study of the community leaders with a tour of Sugar Land Fire Station #4.  The children learned where the firefighters ate, slept, and how they relaxed when they are not protecting the public.  The afternoon was capped off with the debut of Sugar Land’s newest fire truck that has a 100 foot ladder!  The firemen let the children explore the inside of the truck.  Thank you so much to Station #4 in helping show the children how important firefighters are to our community.  Shown are the kindergarten students from St.Laurence Catholic School.
