Stone Garrett, a twelve year Sugar Land resident who plays outfield for George Ranch High School (2014) has been selected early by Baseball Factory and has committed to participate in the 2013 Under Armour All-America Game.
The 2013 Under Armour All-America Baseball Game, powered by Baseball Factory, will be played at Wrigley Field in August 2013. The game will air live nationally on MLB Network and will showcase 36 of the best high school players, competing in an American vs. National team match-up.
The players are selected by a committee of Baseball Factory scouts. With over 500 events worldwide, scouts see thousands of high school players before selecting the best to play at Wrigley Field in the Under Armour All-America Game.
For these rising young stars, playing at Wrigley Field and across the country on MLB Network is an opportunity for exposure on the national level that’s once-in-a-lifetime. As evident over the last six years, many of these talented players will go on to be selected in the first round of the 2014 amateur draft. The Under Armour All-America Baseball Game is the culmination of a four-day baseball celebration, including a formal workout for Major League Baseball (MLB) scouts and a homerun derby.
