The Sugar Land police are looking for the last of a trio of men who are facing charges of aggravated robbery.
Early on the morning of July 3, 2012, at 1:30 a.m., a 24-year-old man told police that he and a buddy were at a park near Great Oak Lane and Gray Birch. During their outing at the park, that early morning, the 24 year old man told police, “Two men approached him, displayed a handgun and demanded money.” He also told police he was beaten by the pistol toting men who stole his money, phone and vehicle, said Sugar Land police spokesman Doug Adolph.
Adolph said, later the victim’s phone and vehicle were found at an apartment complex in Missouri City.
As the case unfolded, Erin Malbroue and Keenan Rogers, Missouri City residents were developed as suspects; arrested and charged with aggravated robbery.
Police also attempted to arrest a third suspect, Erin Rogers, 19, also of Missouri City in the 1200 block of Twinning Oaks on July 13, but he ran away. Since that night, police have been searching for Rogers. When arrested, Rogers will also be charged with aggravated robbery as well as other charges.
Adolph said Rogers is considered armed and dangerous. Anyone with information about Rogers should call the Sugar Land Police Department at (281) 275-2540 or Fort Bend County Crime Stoppers at (281) 342-TIPS (8477).
