3rd Annual BASH is May 14
During the 3rd Annual Sugar Land BASH, an elite group of Sugar Land’s Policemen and Firefighters will wage “war” with each other to help raise money for a different kind of battle—the battle to help fight pediatric cancer. TCRN-Sugar Land proudly presents the 3rd Annual Sugar Land BASH on May 14 in Sugar Land’s Town Square Plaza from 12:00 pm – 10:00 pm. where six Policemen and six Firefighters will compete against one another in a “friendly” Tug of War to prove who’s stronger. All proceeds from the BASH will go to the Snowdrop Foundation funding scholarships for college bound pediatric cancer patients and childhood cancer survivors in the Fort Bend County area.
Scott Wong, local State Farm Agent and TCRN member is sponsoring this Tug of War as a neighborly gesture and does not want to choose sides in this battle between Sugar Land’s bravest and finest. When asked who he thought would win, Donnie Tomlinson, President of the Sugar Land Firefighters Association had this to say, “We may have lost the battle at last year’s BASH, but this year will be a different story.” Not to be outdone, Sergeant Wayne Coleman insists that his team is more than ready to defend their BASH title.
Find out who wins on May 14th and enjoy plenty of free family fun and great entertainment. There will be Balloon Artists, Face Painting, Live Bands and a chance to win a
2011 Harley-Davidson generously donated by Republic Harley-Davidson for this year’s raffle.
