“Reading Wild” is the theme for this summer’s Teen Digital-Photography Contest at Fort Bend County Libraries’ Missouri City and Sienna Branch Libraries. The contest begins Monday, June 4, and continues through July 14.
Participants must be between the ages of 13 and 18, and must be residents of Fort Bend County. Entry forms, rules, and instructions are available at the libraries and on the Fort Bend County Libraries website (www.fortbend.lib.tx.us) – simply click on “Branches” on the gray toolbar, then select either the Sienna Branch Library or the Missouri City Branch Library for the Photo Contest information.
Entry forms for the photos must be received by July 14, at the Missouri City Branch Library or at the Sienna Branch Library. They may be hand-delivered to either of these libraries, emailed to the contest email address, or mailed to: Sienna Branch Library, Digital Photo Contest, 8411 Sienna Springs Blvd., Missouri City, Texas 77459.
Up to two original digital photographs may be entered. Photographs should be submitted as .jpg or .gif files to firstname.lastname@example.org, with the subject heading “Digital Photo Contest.”
The participant’s name, address, email address, phone number, and title of the picture should be included in the email.
Winners will be announced on July 21, and prizes will be awarded to the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd-place entries.
