The annual golf tournament benefiting the educational and historic preservation efforts of the Fort Bend County Museum will return once again to Sugar Land’s Sweetwater Country Club on Monday, September 9 at 8:30 a.m.
This year’s honorees include County Judge Bob Hebert, Commissioner Richard Morrison – Precinct 1, Commissioner Grady Prestage – Precinct 2, Commissioner Andy Meyers – Precinct 3, and Commissioner James Patterson – Precinct 4.
The 2013 Texian Golf Classic will take place on Monday, September 9 at the beautiful Sweetwater Country Club, located at 4400 Palm Royale Blvd., Sugar Land, TX 77479. Participants will tee off at 8:30 a.m. All players are welcome to enjoy complimentary breakfast tacos prior to teeing off and will also be offered snacks and beer throughout their tournament play. A buffet style lunch will be served after the tournament concludes.
Individual players can compete for $125 and will be given goodie bags, plus the use of a golf cart for the tournament, range balls, and lunch. Play as a 4 person team and enjoy a break in price at $450. $550 Birdie teams will receive bonus perks, including reserved seating and a hole sponsor sign. $700 Eagle teams will enjoy all of the Birdie benefits, plus $100 gift card to the Pro Shop.
