Fort Bend County Libraries’ University Branch Library, 14010 University Blvd in Sugar Land, presents a variety of free children’s programs — Mother Goose Time, Toddler Time, Story Time, Pajama Night Story Time, and School-Age programs — every month. These programs are free and open to the public.
Mother Goose Time, which takes place every Wednesday at 10:30 am, provides caregiver/infant activities and songs especially designed for the youngest book-lovers, from age 1 month to 12 months. Program dates are: June 6, 13, 20, and 27.
Toddler Time, which meets every Tuesday at 10:30 am, offers caregiver/child activities, stories and songs for older babies, from 12 to 36 months of age. Program dates are June 5, 12, 19, and 26.
Story Time, which meets every Thursday at 10:30 am, provides stories, movies, and age-appropriate craft activities for pre-school children, 3 to 6 years of age. Program dates are: June 7, 14, 21, and 28.
Pajama Night Story Time — which takes place on the 1st and 3rd Tuesdays at 7:00 pm — gives families an evening option for some activities presented during the day time. Program dates are: June 5 and 19.
The School-Age Programs — crafts, movies, stories, and more for school-aged children in grades 1 through 5 — takes place every Wednesday, beginning at 2:00 pm. A free hand-stamp, which is required for admission, will be available one hour before the show. The June schedule is as follows:

June 27 – Texas Snakes & More
The Tween Programs, which are designed for youth in grades 6-8, take place every Monday in the summer, beginning at 3:00 pm. The June schedule is as follows:
June 4 – Fear Factor
June 11 – Get Your Game On!
June 18 – Origami (registration requested; call 281-633-5110)
June 25 – Shrinky Dinks
