Area book lovers will have the opportunity to meet with other readers who share the same love for literature, for a lively discussion on a wide variety of popular books, from contemporary bestsellers to tried-and-true classics. Fort Bend County Libraries’ new University Branch Library, 14010 University Blvd. in Sugar Land, is starting a monthly book club that will meet on the second Monday of every month.
The first meeting of the University Branch Library Book Club will take place on Monday, January 9, beginning at 1:30 pm, in the library’s Conference Room 1. The book to be discussed is Little Bee, a novel written by Chris Cleave.
The book club is free and open to the public. Area residents are invited to join in this inaugural meeting of the University Branch Library’s Book Club and help to launch the new club to a great start!
