The Adult Services staff at Fort Bend County Libraries’ University Branch Library, 14010 University Blvd in Sugar Land on the UH campus, will present introductory technology classes this month on using Microsoft Word, Microsoft Publisher, Microsoft Windows 8, and eBooks. The classes will consist of a hands-on introduction to basic skills for people who would like to learn more about using these technology tools.
“MS Word Survival Basics” for version 2010 will take place on Thursday,
September 12, beginning at 2:00 pm, in the Computer Lab.
“Computers 101” will take place on Thursday, September 19, beginning at 2:00 pm, in the Computer Lab. This class presents a basic introduction to using computers.
“MS PowerPoint Survival Basics” for version 2010 will take place on Thursday, September 26, beginning at 2:00 pm, in the Computer Lab.
The classes are free and open to the public. Seating is limited, however, and reservations are required.
