Enjoy a free movie night out at the University Branch Library every Monday night in March. A different movie will be shown each week, beginning at 6:00 pm, in the Meeting Room of the library, located at 14010 University Blvd. in Sugar Land.
The feature film on Monday, March 26, stars Tobey Maguire and Reese Witherspoon as two modern-day teens that get sucked into their television set. They suddenly find themselves caught in a black-and-white 1950s sitcom, where they find loving parents with old-fashioned values and an overwhelming amount of innocence and naiveté. Trapped and trying to find a way home, the teens find themselves bringing color to the lives of the rigid, naïve townspeople, but as innocence fades, they begin to wonder if their modern-day outlook is really to be preferred. This film is rated PG-13.
The “Monday Night Movies at the Library” are free and open to the public. For more information, call the branch library at 281-633-5100 or the library’s Public Information Office at 281-341-2677.
