Upcoming Medical Reserve Corps training & events

March 14, 2012 by FortBendStar

Medical Reserve Corps is celebrating its 10 year anniversary! MRC was established in the U.S. Office of the Surgeon General after the 9/11 attacks as a civilian-based volunteer organization trained to prepare for and respond to emergencies and disasters.

They need Fort Bend County residents over the age of 18, or 16 with an adult, with all types of skills to ensure that our 560,000 residents are safe. You get a t-shirt and they make your badge at the first meeting!

To  get involved in March, please contact Christine Rabe at christinem@homelandpreparedness.org or 832-385-9632 to sign up for the trainings or for more information.

Medical Reserve Corps Orientation is March 19,  6:30-8:30 pm, Fort Bend County Library, University Branch, 14010 University Blvd., Sugar Land.
