The WSL Shockers little league baseball team won 2nd place on July 29, in Katy Texas after three days of playing. They won their first game Friday night, Saturday they won 1 game. They came back on Sunday to win 2 games. Then they went into the last game for the Championship and came in second place. They are all winners!
On Friday night the catcher Andrew DeWese was injured and was taken to the hospital for a few stitches. Andrew came back Saturday for the games as an assistant coach in the dug out. What a Trooper!
Andrew was replaced by Brandon Racca. Brandon played catcher position for Saturday and Sunday games. He did an excellent job.
With temperatures reaching close to 100 degrees this was a battle all the way and the players/coaches/parents are extremely proud of these boys.
Andy DeWese stepped up to manage the team with the absence of Jason Council.
