Fort Bend County has an impressive fleet of rolling stock. But if you want to drive one, well, ya’ just gotta wait. Wait that is until the staff has time to get them operational.
They don’t have time to outfit the new cars because they are busy …. Busy, I tell you! They are busy …watching movies on their Smart phone(s). Or wait, it’s nearly deer season and they’ve GOT to get their bow sighted in properly…drive by and see the target for yourself! Then there are the BBQ days when the pit is fired up and ready to feed the masses. Then there are the days when the equipment installation dude feels inspired to write his music or give singing lessons. Never mind the time spent shopping on eBay. Ya’ wouldn’t want a bargain to be missed!
Think about this, then ponder why the taxpayers are having to buy more new cars for 2012 when there are still 6 Chargers, 6 Tahoes, 3 pickup trucks, and 2 Ford Crown Victorias sitting on the lot, not ready to be used, nor operational during the entire 2011 budget.
The problem with the problem Emergency Medical Services (EMS & ambulances) well, that is a whole ‘nother issue unto itself. Please, someone get a grip on this mess.
You want it when? We want it NOW! No more excuses!
